UNC linguists at 2022 Annual Meeting on Phonology

Several UNC linguists and alumni presented last week at the 2022 Annual Meeting on Phonology, hosted at UCLA. They presented the following works:

  • Brian Hsu and Caitlin Smith: “Idiosyncratic hiatus resolution: an argument for Gradient Harmonic Grammar”
  • Brandon Prickett (BA 2014, MA 2015): “Is Sour Grapes learnable? A computational and experimental approach”
  • Edward Rubin and Aaron Kaplan (BA 2002): “Categorical and gradient constraints on clitic allomorphy”
