UNC linguists at CLS 57

A couple of UNC linguistics students and alumni are presenting this week at the 57th annual meeting of the Chicago Linguistic Society. They are presenting the following works:

  • Sean Foley: “The acoustics of apical vowels in two endangered Ngwi languages.”
  • Kathleen Currie Hall (BA 2003 now UBC), Oksana Tkachman & Yurika Aonuki: “Perceived magnitudes of movement in American Sign Language.”
