UNC linguists at WCCFL 39

Several UNC linguistics students, faculty, and alumni presented this weekend at the 39th West Coast Conference on Formal Linguistics, hosted virtually by the University of Arizona. They presented the following works:

Brian Hsu and Yiwen Peng. “Positions of Mandarin classifiers in and out of compounds: implications for Distinctness, selection, and projection.”
Brandon Prickett (BA 2014, MA 2015). “Learning Sour Grapes Harmony in an artificial language learning experiment.”
